Salesforce Account Executive

Responsibilities

  • Manage a full sales cycle – cold-calling, prospecting, generating leads, qualifying, managing the sales funnel, negotiating, and closing deals all day long
  • Meet and exceed individual targets
  • Develop and execute a sales strategy based on Connex’s evolving needs
  • Track leads and sales metrics – experiment with different approaches and use data to identify the best approaches
  • Maintain close relationships with Salesforce Account Executive and customers ensuring they have the best experience with Connex
  • Establish lasting relationships with senior executives and decision-makers
  • You will foster new relationships for Connex through outbound efforts
  • Help educate customers on the value of Connex as a trust Salesforce partner
  • You navigate key decision makers to build Connex awareness within Salesforce
  • Identify customer needs and collaborate with Salesforce Account Executives to ensure customer success
  • You will initiate, negotiate and close new business
  • You will communicate and organize/escalate issues appropriately including billing, legal, security, onboarding, and technical inquiries
  • You will collaborate and work with different members of the Accounts team (Technical Account Managers, Customer Success Managers, Leadership, etc.) to build strategic adoption plans for customers
  • You will prepare and educate customers on Salesforce, relative to their implementation
  • You will conduct periodic customer health-checks with an emphasis on customer happiness

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of previous full sales-cycle experience
  • A proven track record of exceeding sales targets – you always want to be a top performer!
  • A high business acumen
  • Exceptional communication skills – we engage and interact with senior-level and C-Suite executives.
  • Stellar negotiation skills – you love hard work and a ‘never give up’ attitude!
  • A ‘go-getter’ attitude – you’re not afraid to take on new challenges head-on
  • A passion for Sales and consistently wants to improve the full sales-cycle
  • Experience with Salesforce and it’s growing product list
  • Prior experience selling to software companies (considered an asset)
